Genos Emotional Intelligence Life Assessments
Genos Emotional Intelligence Life Assessments measure a person’s demonstration of a set of emotional intelligence competencies that underlie success in personal and professional relationships. Genos assessments are supported by a wealth of peer-reviewed research. Feedback Reports can be delivered through our one-of-a-kind digital platform, Genos Digital, or through thoughtfully designed PDFs.
The Genos Emotionally Intelligent Life Behavior survey measures how well an individual demonstrates emotionally intelligent behaviors in comparison to others. The better an individual demonstrates the behaviors measured, the more effective their relationships should be.
Emotionally Intelligent Behavior
Emotional intelligence drives better connection, communication, and collaboration. Studies have shown that high levels of emotional intelligence boost mental health and well-being, relationship satisfaction, humor, and happiness.
The Genos Emotional Intelligence Life model
The Genos Life model of emotionally intelligent competencies is shown below. You see unproductive emotional states on the left, and productive emotional states on the right. In the center stand the emotional intelligence competencies that influence transition from unproductive to productive states.
Productive states
Unproductive states
Core emotional intelligence competencies
As an example, developing the competency of Self-Awareness can lift someone from a disconnected state, and enable them to behave in a way that is more present, which is productive. People who are more present are more aware of the role their feelings are playing in their decisions and their behavior.
